I ran camera boat over both days of tourney. On day 2 we followed the leader. This is a screen shot I took as the winners trolled by. Note, the waypoint is to the lower left just out of the picture.

That looks sick! I wonder if they tried jigging raps on that spot? It sounds like they had to run them stick baits a certain way and were even picky on color.

Just curious, do you know how fast and many feet of lead he had out to get to 40+ft? After about 35ft, I usually pull out the dipsy divers. I like trolling, but have ADD so usually pull 2.5-3mph.

In the interview he said 200 feet.

Wouldn't doubt it. We fished the main lake this weekend, didn't find much for size other than a buddy caught a 28" in 34'. Our biggest was 16". Caught about 100 8-12". Only 3 from 15-16". Fished from 15'-35'. Was a proper ass whoopin for sure. Didn't even bother heading east, and it sounds like Pelican was dead all of last week and most of them were heading east. From what I heard on Friday morning, only 10 boats headed west outta Grahams Island, the rest went straight east.
