My bride had a bad case quite a few years ago. Terrible pain.
I had the interior ones once and that was bad. First Doctor said no such thing as interior shingles. Second one said B.S. as he had them once too. It wasn't fun either and lasted around 2 weeks for me.

Snow the last time after the vaccine wasnt as bad. If you get medicine within 72 hours it helps immensely. We were in Yosemite, and had no cell service. I also didnt realize that Onstar had gone from using satelite to cell towers so thaf didnt work either. At about hour 60 I got ahold of my doctor after leaving Kings Canyon. He called a pharmacy in Visalia. California and I picked up antibiotics there. It started disipating by next morning.

The first time was bad because it didnt look like shingles, it looked like a machine-gun had run up my back left to right. After a month they sent me to a slecialist in Fargo. He took one look and said shingles. That took a while to get over.

PG,Yikes! that sucks.you must have a stressful life eh? or is that B.S. what I've read and been told,I sure don't want another bout of'em,not keen on vacines,not even flu shots,seems so many diffierent strains of the flu you never get the right vacine.

Yup, Had Pneumonia September of 2019. Then got shingles a few months later. Heard this a lot from people after there body goes through hell with Pneumonia your body is depleted and shingles show up. Luckily I did not get them that bad. Still have a small red patch on my back where they were.

my friend got hemorrhoid surgery said it felt like shiting a spiked soft ball. He had hernia surgery they year before and would do that 10 times again before that roid surgery again

Have only had hernia surgery, was a week long recovery, but only hurt when I used stomach muscles, which of course is constant

Had the big Roid surgery 30-40 years ago.
When i was wheeled into the operating room one of the nurses said you are having hernia surgery? I said no i was having "Roid" surgery. She said oh my you are going to wish it was hernia surgery! The pain meds back then sucked to say the least. It was 3 days of hell on earth is all i can say. But after that it wasn't bad at all. Best move i ever made that is for sure.
Would think with the pain meds now it would be much better too.

My neighbor had roids so bad he couldn't sit in the tractor seat. He went to a chiropractor who gloved up and went in to reset his tail bone. Hemorrhoids gone.

Had Roid surgery once and will tell you if they want to do it ask if you can kick them in the nuts once a day for 3 days first. Not fun and never worked they came back a year later!!! Manage your diet better before attempting this miserable feat!!!
