Which transducer do you like for vexilar

I'm thinking about a FL-18. Should i get a 12 degree or a proview? Seems like the proview is about $100 more, is it worth it? Is the Tri-beam the same thing as the proview?

Vexilar tri beam if you fish deep water
The one thing I wish they made about the tri beam again like the original was the red bottom. The red bottom was nice to be able to tell if you had the bottom of the cone at the bottom of the ice. Other than that tri beam is the one to buy.

Tribeam for I also. I like being able to manually adjust the degree depending on if I'm in on a flat or a drop off.

every place i see the fl 18 advertised it seems to come with the 12 degree. Do i need to buy it like this and then just add the tri-beam?

I would call vexilar and buy through them then you can get what you want
