Our fish house experienced a hit and run last night out on Pelican Lake. (Thank goodness nobody was in it!) If you see a tan or silver 04-06 Chevy pickup with some extensive damage, please let us know. Spread the word please!

Whoever hit that house had to be cruising at a good clip to do that kind of damage. Actually surprised it didn't poke a hole in the radiator and leave a trail for someone to follow.

That sucks. If that thing was froze down, driver not paying attention, going a little fast, looked up and hit brakes and slid into it, it could do that kinda damage. As with most fish houses, it's all insulation and thin tin. Probably didn't have to be going as fast as you'd think to crumple it, especially if it was froze and didn't slide. Only explanation for the drive off is most likely buzzed up or scared. Crappy deal for owner of the house.

I got out to my house this year and had tire tracks making an abrupt turn less than 20 feet from the side of my house and i have reflective tape on it had another guy zip past my house in a truck while i was in it that splashed up water onto my carpet. not sure why people are in such a rush on the ice

Seriously if you can't see that house you are either blind, drunk or going way too damn fast. People shouldn't be going more then 25mph on a lake anyway. Do they not realize the pressure wake they are making driving on it? The faster you go the harder that wake is hitting shore and can break out even a foot of ice! You can't fix stupid!
