Kraft, Ganje and I spent the morning on Lake Sakakawea, in North Dakota, drifting bottom bouncers with slow-death hooks and real crawlers. We were fishing the Van-Hook Arm area of the lake, which is notorious for good walleye fishing in the summer months. This was in 2022, and that year was excellent for 18-20" fish.
