You don't have to be a master mechanic to change your oil (and lower unit grease) on your boat, and doing it yourself will save you a good amount of money too! Here's how I do it with my Mercury 250 Pro XS V8 on my Lund Pro-V GL.
Stuff you need:
Seven quarts of 10W 30 oil
Gearcase lube (lower unit)
Oil filter
Drip pan
Socket wrenches
Funnel
Oil wrench for filter
Gearcase lube pump with proper adapter
