Ice fishing for burbot (eelpout) in central Minnesota

We're still a little early for what would be considered “prime time,” but burbot (aka eelpout) are already showing up and biting around central MN. The fight is incredible, they’re so ugly they’re pretty (I can relate), and the bite will only get better from here on out! It’s time to get out ice fishing for some burbot!
