Rooster, Uncle Kirker and I went out early for a day on the water. The initial goal was to find shallow walleye on the wind blown shoreline, but we struggled to find what we were looking for. Our backup was to chase a bite that we had been on for the past couple of weekends, a crankbait bite in about 25 fow. The wind was howling, so Kirk handled the boat control, while Rooster and I handled the rods. We had to run through a number of smaller fish, but in the end had a damn fine day. No complaints here.
