Prefishing for the ND Governor’s Walleye Cup was busy as usual. The east end of the lake has more boats in a week than it will see most of the season. It also has not been a hot area for fish, so the tournament fishermen have their hands full when it comes to bagging big mommas out there. The technique I found here has produced big walleye for me almost every single day I’ve ran it for a short while, but it has not been something a person could count on to bag limits that is for sure. This was still a fun day in spite of my mood after spending 12+ hours on the water with choppy waves beating me up more ways than one.
