Brett Bloemendaal of Bloemendaal Guide Service invited me out for his last hurrah of the 2022 open-water season to Deepwater Bay on Lake Sakakawea. It was about as windy a day as I’ve ever seen on the big lake. His Lund ProV handled it like a pro should I would say. The 4-foot rollers didn’t stop us from bagging a few nice fish. The rain didn’t stop us from filming it. This day was one for the records because it was the ONLY day I ever expect to out fish Bloemendaal in his own boat. Yes, you heard that right. It happened.
