at the end of the weekend you push a button, and your stuff is packed up and ready for the next weekend.
Ok thats BS.. cause the friends we camp with a few times a summer that have big fifth wheels they ares spenidn all night loading them up Thursday night. Getting home after work friday and then hooking them up and its more last minute loading..
Then they get to the lake at 8pm and start setting everything up.. leveling, slide outs, awnings, porch carpet/ awning lights, 14 chairs around the fire ring.. and so on..and on..
Then come Sunday they have breakfast and start packing it all up, and leave sometime after noon, Stop at the shitter, dump and go through that nightmare of handling the families feces for the weekend.
Get home sunday late afternoon, unload a pile of crap out of it. unhook it and then do it all over again next thursday. So i know first hand its not exactly slide in the slide outs and start your engines.
There's not a weekend we camp that we arent set up and torn down in half the time as our counterparts in their RV's
IMO Camping should be about getting away from all the complications and keeping things simple and it should never involve A/C, microwave popcorn, and 50" big screen. IMO that's what lake cabins are for.
if its raining and 40mph winds I'd just as soon be at home getting some other stuff done.
