Terry Steiner is the Women's wrestling coach at this years Olympics. Terry and his brother wrestled for Century High School in Bismarck back in the mid 80's

I agree. I've never been a huge fan of wrestling but like you said, it's an original event. There are a lot of people that wrestle in highschool and college, you'd think it would have just as big of following as the throws events of T&F.

NBC has been pushing swimming and gymnastics for 30+ years. NBC decides what people like and thus over the years, that's what people have been programmed to watch and like. Its like propaganda. I'll put wrestling state HS state tournament attendance up against swimming and gymnastics combined, for any state in the USA! College NCAA tournament tickets are prized too. Madison Square Garden sold out 3 days this year.

I'm with Wags, Women's sand beach volley ball is the only summer Olympic sport that interests me, well maybe not so much the sand or the beach or the volleyball......................................................

Really hope the shooting sports are televised. Anyone know if all the events can be found online even if not televised?

Haven't checked but I did see this morning that all events were available for live cast on your computer thru NBC.

Shooting is on today. I've been having to use the live stream which will ask for your cable provider after a while. I still am a prisoner to midcontinent so I peeked into women's beach volleyball yesterday. Not bad.

I did watch some of the archery yesterday. An American stuck 8 of 9 arrows in the 10 ring. Pretty awesome. Any one know how far their distance to shoot it?
