For practice my boy has been shooting the 58 grain vmax and he loves it. Deer i think i will load up some tsx. This is in a savage 110 he got for xmas last year.

These have managed to do the job for us for 5 deer. We got them cheap on a close out many years ago. I was really looking for new brass and bullets, but it was cheaper to buy the ammo than buy the components and put them together. Plus we get the added bonus of shooting them and having them fire formed to the chamber. I bet I got these twenty years ago and it is time to start reloading now.

that 58 grain vmax.. how is that for a coyote killer? beat up the fur pretty bad? she has shown interest in coming and calling coyotes, but that will probably change the first time i take her out and she freezes her buns off!

I would think so but he hasnt shot one yet with it hopefully we find out this fall/winter
