These have managed to do the job for us for 5 deer. We got them cheap on a close out many years ago. I was really looking for new brass and bullets, but it was cheaper to buy the ammo than buy the components and put them together. Plus we get the added bonus of shooting them and having them fire formed to the chamber. I bet I got these twenty years ago and it is time to start reloading now.
For practice my boy has been shooting the 58 grain vmax and he loves it. Deer i think i will load up some tsx. This is in a savage 110 he got for xmas last year.
and Mrs. arrowdem she lets me hunt and fish and doesnt take my hunting and fishing stuff away from me!
Kills em nice and dead. It's actually not bad on fur most times. More recently I shoot the 87 vmax 'cause ballistics are closer to the 95 SST I shoot for deer.that 58 grain vmax.. how is that for a coyote killer? beat up the fur pretty bad?
