If we don't stand up to them now when will we? Unleash whatever means necessary and get them off the road. Enough is enough.

The whole rep thing should just be gone. All it does is piss people off and then they don't know who to be pissed at so it just makes the whole site pissy!

If I were V, I'd keep it in place as not to field requests of banning an individual. I agree with the premise of signing bad rep. I would not enforce signing as I feel it's a private matter like your vote and would cause unnecessary drama. I believe all neg rep should go through the mods and falsely signed should have detrimental consequence. I believe I've got a hankering for a hunk of cheese and the only thing which will satisfy it is a big slab of extra-sharp cheddar.

I could make a wagon wheel.

Now some of them have set up camp on the Cannonball Ranch (Dakota Access Property)

http://bismarcktribune.com/news/sta...cle_bc3a5f6a-b2fe-5e77-8d49-cbcee49c5878.html

A group of pipeline protesters moved their camp to Cannonball Ranch, an area directly on the pipeline route, which protesters say is treaty land, but was recently purchased by Dakota Access.

"Water protectors took back unceded territory affirmed in the 1851 Treaty of Fort Laramie as sovereign land under the control of the Oceti Sakowin, erecting a front line camp of several structures and teepees on Dakota Access property," according to a press release from several protest groups, including the Red Warrior Camp and the Camp of Sacred Stones.

"The Oceti Sakowin has enacted eminent domain on DAPL lands," said Mekasi Camp-Horinek, a camp coordinator, in a statement. "We will be occupying this land and staying here until the pipeline is permanently stopped."

Law enforcement immediately condemned the move as illegal.

“Individuals trespassing on private property can’t claim eminent domain to justify their criminal actions,” said Morton County Sheriff Kyle Kirchmeier in a statement.

During the move, protesters set up blockades on Highway 1806 and on County Road 134 directly to the west, according to the protesters' statement. This led to authorities closing Highway 1806 for several hours in the afternoon, during which time drivers were rerouted along Highway 6.

According to the Morton County Sheriff's Department, protesters constructed the barrier north of the camps from hay bales, rocks, tree stumps and logs around 2 p.m. Photos shared on the Red Warrior Camp Facebook page show the block had signs with slogans, such as "NO DAPL" and "Defend the Sacred."

The roadblock north of the camp on Highway 1806 was removed after negotiations with law enforcement, who told protesters they would be liable if an emergency would occur and first responders could not get through, according to the Morton County Sheriff's Department. As of 5:30 p.m. the block on County Road 134 remained in place.

Kirchmeier said he was pleased that "common sense prevailed" when protesters took down the block on Highway 1806, but criticized the day's events, calling them "outright unlawful."

”From halting traffic with their own roadblocks, trespassing on private property and endangering lives with illegal drones, these are the tactics of out-of-state agitators who have an agenda of causing fear, terror, and economic devastation," he said in a statement.

Kellie Berns, a pipeline opponent, said protesters have set up about 15 teepees and 50 tents at the new camp, on the recommendation of elders and group leaders. Women and children are being encouraged to remain at the main Oceti Sakowin camp.

"They're asking as many people as they can to move," Berns said.

The relocation comes a week after the Standing Rock Tribal Council voted 8-5 to set aside land on the reservation for a winter camp. The Forum News Service reported that not everyone was inclined to move there.

The site of this new camp is on Cannonball Ranch, which Dakota Access purchased from a local landowner last month. Part of the ranch was the site of a clash between protesters and private security guards with dogs. The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe has said the land contains sacred burial sites. The new camp is across the road from where the clash took place, according to the protest groups. It is directly behind where a row of tents has been staged for the past two months.

An email sent to a Dakota Access spokesperson was not immediately returned on Sunday evening.

Authorities used an ATV to arrest one person for criminal trespass and fleeing, according to the sheriff's department.

Around 11:00 a.m., officers used less-than-lethal force to shoot down a drone that was allegedly endangering a helicopter flying above the protests, according to the Morton County Sheriff's Department.

A total of 126 people were arrested during major demonstrations on Saturday, as officers used pepper spray to control a group of protesters, according to the sheriff's department. This is an updated figure from the 83 reported Saturday. Charges include reckless endangerment, criminal trespass, engaging in a riot, assault on a peace officer and resisting arrest.

Protesters were brought to jails throughout the state. At least two were legal observers, according to Bruce Ellison, an attorney for the protesters. He said some people have bonded out, but it is not clear if everyone has.

WTF!!! Road block removed after negotiations? They're causing fear, terror and economic devestation, the Sherifs words. At some point I think Dakota access will have a case for the state being negligent in protecting its interests.

Current negligence counts for nothing until it violates horse sense. Then it roars.

Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s responsed to treatment of protesters

CANNON BALL, N.D.— (Valley News Live) This weekend 127 people have been arrested at the Dakota Access Pipeline.

The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Chairman Dave Archambault II, released a statement Sunday evening.

The statement is below:

The militarization of local law enforcement and enlistment of multiple law enforcements agencies from neighboring states is needlessly escalating violence and unlawful arrests against peaceful protestors at Standing Rock. We do not condone reports of illegal actions, but believe the majority of peaceful protestors are reacting to strong-arm tactics and abuses by law enforcement.

Thousands of water protectors have joined the Tribe in solidarity against DAPL, without incident or serious injury. Yet, North Dakota law enforcement have proceeded with a disproportionate response to their nonviolent exercise of their First Amendment rights, even going as far as labeling them rioters and calling their every action illegal.

We are disappointed to see that our state and congressional delegations and Gov. Jack Dalrymple have failed to ensure the safety and rights of the citizens engaged in peaceful protests who were arrested on Saturday. Their lack of leadership and commitment to creating a dialogue towards a peaceful solution reflects not only the unjust historical narrative against Native Americans, but a dangerous trend in law enforcement tactics across America.

For these reasons, we believe the situation at Standing Rock deserves the immediate and full attention of the U.S. Department of Justice. Furthermore, the DOJ should impose an injunction to all developments at the pipeline site to keep ALL citizens – law enforcement and protestors – safe. The DOJ should be enlisted and expected to investigate the overwhelming reports and videos demonstrating clear strong-arm tactics, abuses and unlawful arrests by law enforcement.

Preventing government agencies from stripping protestors and tribal members of their constitutional rights to organize and protect our sacred places and water is paramount to both U.S. citizens and tribal sovereignty.

Oh really...............so a few officers from neighboring states is wrong, but to bring in thousands of protesters from all over the country is ok??????? I doubt dead cows.......arrows shot at helicopters........trespassing........assaults.......vandalizing..........ect.ect.ect. has anything to do with the need for extra law enforcement to be there.

If we went and blocked the road or set up ''camp'' on someone's private land, we would be arrested as fast as law enforcement could get to the scene. What the hell is going on? Our limp dick governor needs to do something if nobody else is. They are so afraid of bad press. Damn it do your job!

Relations between the state the tribal governments is strained or ruined already to the point it will take years to rebuild. What the vast # of protestors don't understand is that we, the majority, understand the need for pipelines. And that they the minority in #'s are trying to control everything. There are already hundreds of pipelines that cross rivers all over the country. I get their message "water is life" or necessity to live. But they need to understand that water can be cleaned, filtered treated with purifying chemicals and reused as drinking water. For them to claim sovereign nation off the reservation....I don't think so. I say get all the law enforcement you can, tell them to either disband, move their camp and all protest with in the boundary of the SRR or they will be bused to a camp of tents with fences and consentina wire until Dakota Access company come in and work 24/7 to get the job done. If they choose to go to camp on SRR and leave to protest on Access property or disrupt, they automatically go to tent city with no TV, guaranteed only 1 hot meal and a port-a-pot.

During my military basic training of 13 weeks, we had no daily TV. I think we go 1 weekend to watch it during 4th of July. We marched our butts all over the base. Military only guarantees 1 hot meal a day. Had several meals of eating C-rations and some MRE's. Being able to voice a protest is a "privileged right" in the land of the free, if done according to the laws.

I just with Tribal Chairman Archambault understood this. I know they are not bonding out of jail because they just want to make the county and state pay and for Dakota Access to loose as much as possible. I just hope we all remember this for years to come and to make it hurt the tribe as well by BOYCOTTING and not going to the Prairie Knights Casino, concerts there or Archambault's convenience store he owns. Don't ask the feds to help. The feds will not get involved because they are just trying to keep relations with them, as the FBI has responsibility of being a big part of tribal law enforcement for most major crimes from what I understand.

This is all being allowed by this corrupt DOJ acting on orders from Obama. Honestly, this is probably going to have to be settled by the rest of us. And it'll have to be messy. I would love to see about a 100 4x4's with people loaded in the back with AR's. Amass on the place and blow through the gates everybody firing weapons in the air. Watch how fast those rats scatter. Then burn the bitch to the ground.

I bet there are more bows/arrows off of the reservation than there is on the reservation! Fly a few in an arch, and lit with fire, to hit that wood pile, the hay bales blocking the road, and a few of the tents/tipis. Things can change in a real hurry.

Listened to the press conference earlier they said that one guy was laying in the grass dressed in a Ghillie suit pretending to have a weapon and pointing it at people and others were walking in a field pretending to do some type of maneuvers that made them look like they had weapons. These idiots are trying to goat law enforcement into shooting one of them to add sympathy to their cause.

Violence begets violence unless you obliterate the enemy. This shit gets my blood boiling but it's not worth creating a generational feud with your neighbor, no matter how stupid they are. You bring violence into this and our grandkids will be killing each other and not know why.

Can anyone tell me if Wall Street is still occupied? Did it end with guns blazing? Gotta think long game here people. No sense in killing people over their stupid tantrums. This will eventually fizzle out and yes we're going to have to put up with their shit for awhile.
