Took out six huns just north of base one night. They landed in a pile right in front of me during a heavy snow. Nothing I could do, like they wanted to die. No damage to the Impala and just broke their necks. Perfect "shot". Gathered them up and pard brought in the most amazing crockpot stew I've ever eaten a couple nights later. Six partridge will feed a good amount of folks in this manner. No shortage of meat in each spoonful. He boiled the skinned birds whole then pulled all the meat like pork. The broth was used in the crockpot. I believe he boiled them in chicken stock. Damn that was good stuff. He let it simmer for over 24hrs with potatoes, carrots and peas. Had the consistency of pot pie filling. Damn!

Well the damage came to 3200 and change to fix what that deer did to the Jeep. Wouldn't have thought the damage would have cost that much in a thousand years. Plastic SURE is expensive apparently.

I just remembered this: While I was shoving my face full; I bitched twice about not having biscuits or rolls. His response was "You knew I was making this shit. Why didn't you bring any--queer?" Everyone just laughed and laughed: At me. :)

I know where you can find a 2001 Grand Cherokee that the owner will sell for less than that.

On further reflection; there had to be some cornstarch in the broth.
