If I pay 38% so should everyone, if you pay zero, you sure should not get a return.

That in my mind is fair.

Also if you live off the labor of others you can't vote

I feel like shit when I know my sister or sister-in-law are using my tax money to subsodize bull shit like home repairs on a trailer house, or support their deadbeat boyfriend (babydaddies). Taxes piss me off. Have you ever heard of some one putting 5k into a 2k trailer house??????? Sorry personal experience of a bullshit system.

My favorite part about some that are abusing the system is the need for a "spend down". If they get to much money saved up, they lose their program check(not that it happens that often, ha ha). In order to stay on the dole, they have to spend their account down by buying whatever just for the sake of spending.

when i first started dating my now wife, she was a single mom, working part time and going to school full time. she had me doing her taxes. the first time i did them, i was like "WTF?" i had to re check my work 3 times to make sure i wasn't inputting the numbers wrong because i couldn't figure out how she was getting more back then she paid in. LOTS MORE. i think it was something like paid in $1500 and getting $4000 or more back... could've been 6k back. but, i don't want to exaggerate when its not needed and i honestly can't remember. but, i definitely remember that feeling of "how the hell is this possible?"

when your young, married or single, have childcare expenses and make under a certain level you will get back far more than you paid in. My son's girlfriend gets back about double what she paid in. Some years more. It is nothing but re-distribution of wealth. Nothing more, Nothing less

Unfortunately Romney had it right all along..there is a good percentage of the population...most not working I will add...that is ok living off the govt tit ..and also thinking they deserve it.... which gives the Dems an advantage right out of the gate. Very tough to win a national election when every large city votes dem. If Trump pulls this off even with this built in Dem advantage..it will be historic and the liberal media will be besides themselves.

I heard it a little differently. The version I heard was "Those who cannot teach, administrate. Those who cannot administrate, teach in college."

I pay in somewhere around $32,000/yr.... I'm just going some chicken scratch, but thinking you should do my taxes and get me my fair share of $48,000 return! Hell, I'd even provide you a bowl of chili and a six pack for the effort!

don't think the same rules apply to folks who pay in 32k/year. your 32k/year is providing for the extra $ back that the "less fortunate" receive. sorry.

Banks have now found a way to make money off of people using the early return for a huge fee scam. They can take their old tax returns in and based on what they got back last year they advance them the money and collect their return when it comes in. These idiots then pay to get their return a few weeks early. I suppose since they are getting back so much more than they paid in, its like free money, so who cares if they take an extra couple hundred. SMH

Yeah, if you're paying in $32,000 and want a return of $48,000 you're going to need to start producing (or listing) a whole bunch of dependents. And no, legislators do not count as dependents.

I could live with low-income people getting all they paid in back as a return, but getting more than they paid is exactly redistributing the wealth.

AGREE! I bet we will never see a Republican in the White House again.
