This makes me made to, people are so dumb, if the plow/blade operator stopped and tooked the time to make sure no snow got piled up at the the end of the driveways it would triple the time it takes them to get the streets cleaned, then these dummys would bitch about that.

This is what we are doing now we get the snow to the curb then clean every driveway. it took two 12 hour shifts to clean one Neighbor hood in my unit. up north a 12 hour shift and they get 5 streets done

It takes them exactly zero more seconds to drop the gate then to not. It's not like they have to slow down to do it.

next one on its way -----imo we should remove every scrubber, flare every oil well, burn every thing, lead back in my fuel, no cat converter, put the cheap refrigerant in my air conditioner and the list goes on. lets warm this bitch up

When will you get it! Global warming and everything you said makes it colder by making it warmer.

Dean at 3 inches of snow it works like you say. 6 inches of snow the plow fills up, it boils over the top and pushes out the front. in the perfect world it is as fast as you think

Oh no one is saying it would be anywhere near as good as when it's only a few inches but they surely would appreciate the difference between the two since it's still going to keep 50 to 60% of it off the driveway and that's a shitload less shoveling.

Man they can't get a firm grip on this next storm. Looks like it might take a decent shot at fargo....the 10-1 model as always is showing lessor amounts but still near ten in fargo and five in bismarck.

Well that path would mean the current model is of by 400 miles and considering the freaking forecast models have been oscillating in a damn near thousand mile arch that map is way more then posable! Hell at this point this damn storm could hit Dallas and it wouldn't shock me. This storm is the poler opposite of the last storm where they had that one figured out 5 days out and this one they have no clue.

All the models I've looked at have pretty much settled in with this setup but the weather service says this storm has to many moving parts to get a firm grip on the forecast and fully admits that the winter storm warning and winter weather advisory maps will almost surely change as the storm gets going.

If it keeps snowing like this every week, It might be the year to upgrade the boat with all of the overtime. there has to be a bonus in there somewhere. I got a new Ariens 28 snow blower this fall this thing is a beast 420cc 21 pounds ft torque it eats right through the ridge from the plow truck, my buyers remorse is gone. I have today off and got a 10 hour nap and now switch to night shift.

I wanted a 28" Ariens! I couldn't pass up the deal I got on my 24" Polan Pro. I think I bought it 2 years ago ish. I got it on sale and coupled it with the Menards 11% rebate. All told I think I paid like $390. Pretty good buy as far as I'm concerned. Thing runs great and moves snow well!

Next purchase is a sump pump. I have a sump hole but with all this snow I figure it's best to get proactive, before there is a rush on them in the spring and I can't find one in town.
