Whats to "GET". I have used both loomis and the "elite" Nice rods extremely light - sensitive bbut i would rather have 3 moderately priced rods vs one Thats my 2 cents - you can have a different opinion id care (warranty not to impressive - i broke my loomis and had to pay shpping and fk around iwth it and now i think a fee exists). My nieghbor is exclusive croix fan--he dont catch any more or less than i do when we fish together.

Yep not breaking any news most don't know there shorty. My most expensive rod is 100 maybe but I get to fish with all the high enders my friends have and they are better and I catch more fish with the better rod. I just choose not to buy them as I have other interest to spend money on but I don't kid my self there rods are better than mine.

While I have never actually used a $200+ rod, I have used a lot of $30 rods and $100 rods. To me the sensitivity and feel are not even comparable. Especially fishing a lot of snags (Red River). An extra fast tip is literally night and day with getting your jig free. Honestly I have no problem at all with a $50 scheels rod with extra fast tip - IM7. Love em.
