Which one has better deals? I was going to wait til this fall Labor Day) to get new treads, but memorial day sales have me thinking about now. I probably wouldn't put them on until later this fall anyways...

Falcon Wildpeak AT3's. I just got them and I love them so far. Inexpensive, quiet as a road tire and have a lot of grip. Wear remains to be seen.

TBH, I just drove the new rig over and traded the crappy stockers for some meat. He said they were good before I got there. I read the good reviews and I said what the heck. I could be complaining about wear down the road, but so far so good.

Do they ever put bfg at ko's on sale? Just had them put on the new truck as the factory good years aren't fit for a car. Good tire all around.

Wait until Labor Day. Who cares about good meats until hunting season/ winter. One mans opinion.

if i can make it through the summer, i usually try my darndest to do so. i put about 2,000 on per month. if i can stretch that last bit of rubber for an extra 10,000, i think its money in the bank in the long run regardless of the price of the tire in the fall. but, i have no idea if they get cheaper or not.

they look real comparable to Wrangler ATS ... have to keep those in mind when the wife needs new treads

as for the OP --- wait till fall why wear off a bunch of tread on dry hot summer roads...not sure what type of vehicle you are putting them on but if it's a truck BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 are worth every penny

There are some real good deals out right now plus mail in rebates. Plan on getting a new set for the wifes Ranger then set on them until needed later this winter.

I bought a set of new take off, off a 2015 F150 with Hankook Dynapro for 400.00 off Craigslist. I would be checking Craigslist.

One other think if you buy from Sams or Walmart or Costco make sure you only buy road hazard on one tire. Most of the time only one tire goes bad and just happens to be the one with road hazard.

I can't seem to get any mileage out of BF AT Ko 2 on my 04 duramax. On 2nd set, (over 1/2 gone). have summer wheels and (nitto) tires that I put on also. Only have 80k on truck. Had alignment, and i rotate every 8k. Trying Firestone destinations next or Hankook

I think they are 10 ply. Anyway, wslayer, are you sure you dont have them over inflated? The one set i had that didn't last as long as the rest were over inflated on purpose one time and i forgot about them. Got half the life as my other sets.

My 04 3500 Duramax is a tire eating machine.

Wife has a 07 Ford Focus and we cannot keep tires on the dam thing. What is strange is the back tires not the drive tires that are shot by 12000 miles. The front tires will go twice that. Don't make a difference if it is cheap tires or spendy ones.

Anything that tows is a tire eater, I had cooper st maxx on my last duramax and they were great until I started towing (13K camper and 4k boat) with them wasn't long and they were in need of new rubber. Prior to that I ran the BFG AT KO's 10ply on 1/2ton I loved them but I pulled a lighter camper (7k) I know a lot of other people hate them though.

discounttiredirect has some rebates on BFG KO2s and most other tires right now. So that got me wondering if I should buy now and keep them in the shed til this fall or if Labor day has just as good if not better sales.
I have a 1/2 silverado and will be going either BFG KO2s or Cooper AT3s.

Is this the 3rd tire set for the vehicle?

Two sets of tires and you are at 80k on the second set with half the rubber left is pretty damn good wear if the truck started with BFGs.

I run 10 ply Hankook tires on my F250 and got about 45k on the first set, and looking like I will get about the same on the second set.

All I do at this point in time is buy my tires through the local Ford shop. They do most of my maintenance anyway, so when I bring it in for oil changes I have them do the rotations as well for free. And...they price match. Win win...

Stupid question here, but when you go on Discount tire and they list a wheel as TPMS (tire pressure monitor system), do they actually include the tire pressure sensors?

I have been running the 10 ply BF's at 46# air unless towing I bump them up a bit. Out of the 80k miles, a good 25k is on the Nitto / summer combo. Put the wider tires for summer ( mistake ) , they eat about an extra 3 miles/ gal

Usually put the BF back on before hunting season. Gravel " does " play hell on them I will admitt.

Had horrible luck with the cooper at 3s on my personal truck and my work Truck. They were great when new, but never stayed balanced.and had bad road noise and vibration. Was so bad on my personal truck I made the replace them at 8000 moles. Work Truck I couldn't handle the road noise.
