What is your dream trip?

For me it would be somewhere up in northern Ontario or Manitoba fishing big Lake Trout and Walleye. Somewhere without anybody else, where I could spend 7-10 days figuring out the lake(s) and exploring new water. No lodge, no guides. Could be a complete bust, or could be the best ice fishing in my life, the unknown is a huge draw for me. There is just something up about the country up there that hooks me in every time. The upcoming trip up to Clearwater lake in Manitoba in March might be the closest thing I get to that dream for a long time.

Fishing big walleye on Erie would be a close 2nd.

I fish Upper Red Lake every year in January, and it's a trip I dream about. I have yet to not catch a ton of walleyes on that lake.

But my honest-to-goodness dream trip beyond that would be to actually have a lights-out mutlispecies smorgasbord at Devils Lake.

You would have to bust ass from Sun up to Sun down and probably have a damn good perch guide above all else. But, the above is doable ^^^^ for one or two guys in a day.

That we get 3 week full of 90+ days and the ice melts and water temp rises to 67degree and than a nice 75 degree day with a 7 mph wind and bright sun/ cooler full of a couple 30 packs

Belize is the deal. Ambergris Caye was awesomer 7 years ago, but still not bad.
I'm a Caye Caulker man myself. The vacation rental we hit last winter had bikes so I could patrol the whole island with the fly rod and a basket full of booze

Clear Water is on my bucket list. I've been to Winnipeg a couple dozen times and love it there. I think I'm hitting Last Mountain Lake the end of February. But big Lakers is something I've been dreaming about for sometime.

Do they make that beer in a light? I don't remember how young my kids were but I am betting not over 14. They both speak Spanish few minutes at the bar and here they come walking with belikins. They loaded beer

Winnipeg in its hey day. Would love to go after lakers some time too. Ft Peck would be fun. Been to Tobin a handful of times in the fall but would like to try that through the ice as well. Lake Erie is always on the radar. Gaa, too many places and not enough time.
