Good point. I do. And it helps. I didn't plan it this way. But, that was the result of full size house windows.
is bigger better? yes for sitting in --- but pulling not -- I had one when the first wheel houses came out -- purchased it down at ottertail -not very big. Never really had an issue -- got rid of it after we no longer had a place at the lake and i had to start pulling it from home. Ramps at the lake ussually start out nice and then get cruddy as the year moves on. The longer they are the more they bottom out when you pull them on.
Engeneer some slides into it if you want a wider house.
Do you guys not fish outside lines with those permanent houses? If you do put a few lines outside, wouldn't it be better to have the windows lower so you can see out of them when sitting down?
IMO, It seems like there are permanent shacks for just being out there and ones that are fishing shacks, set up for fishing. The ones that are lighter, easier to pull, but still provide a really warm environment, to fish in, seem the best. Zack-shacks come to mind or ones designed like them. Ice Castles come to mind for the ones that are more like camping on the ice, and the fishing seems to come 2nd.
