His sword.

I was a big astronomy geek growing up. I bought a 6" reflective telescope. I could see lots in the night sky but nothing thru the neighbor girls windows ... damnit!!!

I have had some interest. Two years ago we were camped alone on the Utah desert in a designated dark sky area. My wife thought I had lost it getting up at 3:00 am to take pictures. I'm ticked that I didn't turn my camera to the vertical view. _MG_7408A.jpg

Prolly gravity from the sun keeps the planets in a rotational pattern where they are MILLIONS of miles apart. If you want to know how many millions of miles - look it up!

They do crash into each other. The reason the collisions are rare is distance and time. Speed time up and collisions appear to happen frequently. Here is the video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qKOpvDa82M I used an app similar to the video (couldn't find the link). It allowed the user to set the "spaceships" velocity. Videos like this and apps can give a person a real world concept of how big the universe really is.
Enjoy, and post if you make it through the whole video without fast forward.

How is the sun creating gravity? How does the Earth create gravity?

I learned on a side quest in my recent rabbit hole adventure into Randall Carlson / Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis, that the universe has over a billion rogue planets unattached to a star just roaming around bumping into shit. But the universe is so fricking big that it is not even a remote concern, the junk in our solar system is a different story.

Think of space in 2d, like a stretched out bed sheet. Anything with mass will affect it, the more mass, the bigger the effect. Set a bowling ball on the sheet, then roll a golf ball past it. The golf ball follows the curve of the sheet (space). Mass/gravity also affects light and time.

The odds of enjoying a evening piss in the side yard are now limited.
Thanks

Take 90% of my piss outside even when 30 below. Waiting for someone to turn me in and now we find someone is taking pictures at 3 in the morning. db

The way my fifth wheel, boat, and enclosed trailer are parked next to my house It is a pretty private area, however.. even taking a leak on a gravel road posses problems now with game cams everywhere.

That still doesn’t explain what is causing gravity. Js
