would have served him right had a big pike took a swipe at that ring and bit it off. out a few grand for the ring. but, maybe he would have taken it as a sign and been money ahead in like 24 hours. save the cost of the wedding, a divorce attorney, x amount of years in child support and possibly alimony. call me a debbie downer. but, a coin flip says that's the end result of this thing called love.
