It must have came down at the perfect rate to soak in and not over saturated the soil and runoffThis size event, and not one of our rivers and creeks has become a problem child? Well, yet anyway. That is just amazing. I don't know that I can remember a near state-wide storm with rainfall totals this high in my lifetime. Truly, a billion dollar rain.
Thanks again for all the helpful information!

We are supposed to pour concrete for powers poles in the fields around st Gertrude next Tuesday. Don’t think it will happen but I will report when we doAnyone from the Freda, Raleigh, St. Gertrude, and Shields area that can give some insight on how the small creeks are doing?

Just because it stops raining it doesn't mean on can go back to work right away, it could take days or even a week or more to dry up enough to get anywhere near the siteShe'll all be over long before then. I'm just curious if the Cannonball at Breien is going to reach Minor Flood Stage. It's the one and only spot that looks to have a fair shot at it.
Well, the creeks should be pretty much done, but moving equipment around off of gravel or asphalt may be interesting.
With the rain next monday and tuesday getting trucks out in the pastures is going to be a nightmare the gravel roads over there are not very good either. She'll all be over long before then. Aren’t you the water guy? Shouldn’t you be telling us what is happening?![]()
The bad news is that's also the area with some of the higher chances for another inch, or so, starting on Sunday. Just to help keep the dust settled. With the rain next monday and tuesday getting trucks out in the pastures is going to be a nightmare the gravel roads over there are not very good either.
I like ducks more than concrete so I’m ok with it haha. The bad news is that's also the area with some of the higher chances for another inch, or so, starting on Sunday. Just to help keep the dust settled. The path of that system has wobbled a bit in the models over the past few days. One run brings it farther north, then the next keeps it mostly in SD. Today's runs mostly keep it below I-94, but that's still not good news for you all pouring concrete in that area.
