He helped as much as he possibly could to his credit. Odd part to me is they're ALREADY hanging on a plaque in his basement and doesn't even seem like the shooter was notified, cared as much, or anything after the find. It's almost as if he just decided to say f'em for circumstances unknown or untold in the whole story.
I'd like to keep the treasure only if it was a kill much longer after the fact or died of natural causes but if there was any way possible to get them back to the shooter that soon after, you can bet I'd personally take every avenue to get them back to the shooter unless I thought they were a pos or irked me totally the wrong way I suppose.
