Added about 250 asparagus seedlings and 120 Sedum to my asparagus patch
I hear they are good eats...Prepare for a squirrel invasion.
Yeah, you're the reason I posted this. I told you at the time I hope you're able to harvest oil.big fan of black walnuts, I planted a few hundred seedlings at my place in the last couple years, plan to graft them over to named varieties with better nuts eventually.
nice, ive been thinking about trying to grow a big one also. I dont like the big ones that are ugly colored and dont even look like pumpkins though. IMO they should judge on color, form AND weight, instead of just weight, too many ugly giant pumpkins winning... Id rather have a 1000lb nice looking pumpkin than a 2000lb ugly one thats not even nearly round.I ordered some magical pumpkin seeds for next year. They came out of 2000+ lbs pumpkins. I'm working on some mad soil science fertility program.

primarily for pollinators, it competes well with weeds and grass and is very drought hardy, perennial, etc. Also its very easy to propagate, so doesn't take much work to get a bunch of them going. Why so much Sedum? LB
Yeah, we dont have a lot of good late season nectar sources in ND. Since I started planting more late season type flowers the numbers of native bees has really taken off around my land.We have some and I know it really attracts bees and such when they bloom in the fall. LB
