To be a winning franchise where would they have to be in the all time standings?Don't like Stephen A , but he is right on the button. Not sure what these guys got for contracts but would not blame them one bit to take a hit and walk away from this disaster. Super Bowls are hard to come by and they will never get to see them in they're careers if stick with this losing franchise.
Nix "has" A clue in this fast paced game. JJ, not even close.
You are probably right on Jefferson, but I certainly couldn't blame him if he did.To be a winning franchise where would they have to be in the all time standings?
Pretty sure Justin Jefferson is not walking away from 110 million guaranteed with an 35 million average salary.
They are the seventh best winning percentage in the history of the NFL. In reality they need a couple bad years and some good draft picks . Salary cap is going to be a real problem next year. You are probably right on Jefferson, but I certainly couldn't blame him if he did.
Cullpepper doesnt shred his knee he could have been. He threw the deep ball about as good as anyone. That’s part of the problem with never just sucking you don’t get a chance at a top three pick.Having a whole year off and not being able to practice will make a rookie look bad, and i still believe if we had a decent running back jjm would be able to settle his feet and his mind. Again minnesota has never been good at picking a franchise qb, Fran tarkenton was probably the only one that comes to mind. And the only reason he was as good as he was is because bud grant had phenomenal defense the years he was under center.
He really only had one maybe 2 good season 2000 and 2004 other then that he was an average qb, his biggest physical issue was he had smaller hand for his size and was prone to throw lots of ducks that would end up intercepted. He is one of those guys that never fully recovered psychologically after getting hurt, i always wonder if qbs like Carson Wentz or RG3 would have had better careers if they never had serious injuries that needed surgery.Cullpepper doesnt shred his knee he could have been. personally, I think O line is more important that running backIf we dont get a stud running back in the draft it won't matter how healthy our o line is, you look at every playoff contention team and they all have a running back and a strong defense. Koc is an offensive guru, so if he wants jm to do well in the pocket he needs to make the d linemen honor the run because right now teams dont.
Yep football is won or lost in the trenches. Need to improve the lines on both sides of the ball if they want to win consistently.personally, I think O line is more important that running back
McCarthy is on concussion protocol. Just a safety pin.Ridder to the vikings...
