The GM is the #1 guy responsible for this shit show. These are all his draft picks. The oline are his free agent signings. The QB situation is entirely on him and KOC. Somebody needs to pay for those mistakes. I sure as hell don't want that GM making those decisions in the future. I'm shocked the Wilfs have not fired him yet.

Sure..but a trade next year could happen if he requested it...would you as a coach want a player on your team that doesnt want to play? I would trade asap..pretty sure he is already there and would be requesting a trade if the trade deadline hadnt passed..

I could see the Bills trying to get him since they were unable to get waddle..
With the 60 mill hit for two years i would not trade as even then you wont be able to sign any one with the dead cap space. The bills dont have any thing to offer they are always bottom of the draft unless they are trading josh allen no other player is close to jj value thats why they are struggling this year. If he wants to pout and suck the next two years( i dont think he is that kind of person) so be it get the draft picks and trade when the money makes sense. Reality they need about 3 years of sucking and getting good draft picks. Every one wants some on fired it should be the gm horrible picks since he came. Im sure they will win 13 next year and go out in the first round and the cycle will continue

26 and 27 first round with money would get him..depends how bad the bills wanted him. I could see it take place. He is not happy there... that would add more to the toxic culture....I think jefferson is realising a super bowl vikings is never going to happen and he is better off someplace else.

Agree with all of this but....I think I'd trade him before he's a free agent. He isn't going to stay. Get something for him if can.

Ya after the big dead money cap hit goes off exploring offers would not be bad if they dont have it fixed in three years its time to burn it down and start over any way.

If those were top of the first round picks maybe but buffalo isnt in a place with there cap to be able to give a bunch of money thats why they have no talent at wr right now they are cap strapped

All the rubes calling for firing of Koc is emotional overreaction . Only two coaches have won more games since 2020. What does winning in Seattle yesterday get you in the long run nothing but a worse draft pick.
Rube? Sure. I want the Vikings to WIN. You want them to lose, get a high draft pick who turns into a superstar so you can draft him and win your fantasy league. Got it. Fantasy and sports betting are creating a shitty product for the NFL. It creates players interested in their own numbers, just like their fantasy "fans", and not in tackling the DB who just intercepted their QB. Individuals instead of teams.
Take away KOC's first year with a Zimmer/Spielman team, add 5 more losses this year and KOC is 25-26 on his own. Pretty awesome. At least Mike Tice was .500.

You can’t take away the first year to make make it fit your narrative. Fantasy and betting have been going on for years so try again. My first fantasy team was 1993. When we had to use box scores from the paper to score the teams.

Exactly the way we USED to score things back in the day! I was a COMMISSIONER.hahaha..for a few years. My fellow COMMISSIONERS would gather at the local watering hole and SCORE the fantasy teams using the Grand Forks Herald as the official gospel publication for scoring. It was actually a very fun fantasy league! I will never forget an incident however where the gospel scoring publication got it wrong....ie published the WRONG person who had scored the touchdown.....pissed that team owner off to know end as the paper did have it wrong....a bunch of us saw it....but...we were STUCK with what that paper had in print. That team owner even called the Herald to get them to retrack the printing...to no avail..hahha... ah yes..the good ole days!! hahaha
I will never forget, a million years ago, when I was a young man and living in another state, our "team" drafted Dan Marino....think he threw like 48 TD passes that year and we wiped the entire fantasy league's arses. Good times!

It is incredibly common in most any sport for fans and even sportswriters to not give a new coach credit or criticism for what happens the first year since it is not really 100% his team yet. The credit or criticism starts the second full season. I didn't say fantasy leagues and betting hadn't been going on for years, you can't add words to fit your narrative. I said it is creating a shitty product. For example, Justin Jefferson quitting on interceptions vs Cris Carter trying to take a DB's head off after Rich Gannon throws a pick. JJ pretty obviously only cares about HIS numbers and not the team. I can't believe I am arguing on a Viking's thread with someone who wants the Vikings to lose.
What does winning in Seattle yesterday get you
