A friend at the camp ground had one of these this weekend, I couldn't quit playing with it, so I picked one up today.

works pretty good if you are within 3 feet or so of the fly.

Newby's has them for $40.00

Looks pretty cool! How many shots you get before having to reload with more salt?

You get about 80 shots out of a fill.

Yes if you shoot each other in the short range it will leave a mark, we did it to each other anyway, as the Busch lights told us too...haha

I wish someone would make a CO2 version powerful enough for wasps. THAT my friends is when the fun begins...

I almost ordered a 1/2 dozen for my Christmas list last year, but my wife said it was too crude. I guess I will use this post to arm my fellow relatives this holiday season!

Trigger pull seems like 10 lbs but the kids and I have fun hunting flies in the house when the wife is not home. Something about the salt ending up on window sill's around the house has the wife puzzled and off my case.

I have one and the killing range is not very far. Need to make sure you are aiming for a straight on to the wall / window hit as any kind of angle just blows the fly sideways.

I think the boy went through an entire 16oz jug of salt last night. He was hunting ants, flies, anything he could find. Might have to buy a second one so I get a turn..haha

Had one in the trailer on location last summer, had fun with it. My wife picked up some battery powered bug zapping rackets this summer that I find much more entertaining.

I bought three in 2013 (some of you might recall the thread on a web site that shall go unnamed).

Ballistics testing since then has showed that table salt sucks compared to kosher. This is true of all game insects and galwhofishes' butt jean material.
