This squirrel trap is very easy to make and can catch these guys super easy. Here’s a few things to help you guys make your own boxes.

110 trap or 120 make notches for trap. I use a jig saw and cut out after I build box.
1x8 board pine or whatever you want. Green tray maybe not a bad idea
Dimensions of cuts
4 at 14”
1 at 18”

Use Brad nails and wood glue or screws to put together.

A small 1 in screw on side of box to wire trap to box.

Bait it with whole corn or a mix.

3-4 feet off ground screw to tree in area of grey squirrel or fox squirrel

FYI I don't think it's legal to trap tree squirrels in ND... Maybe

To resolve a nuisance animal damage to property issue, yes. As a harvest tool, no.

When they start messing with the garden and you can't be there 24/7. Those boxes with a handful of birdseed in the back do the deed.

Got one in a live trap with some peanuts as bait. I had just left for a week of fishing. Wife wasn’t happy with me.
