Well.......it's not snow and it's not rain. They're little water filled balls the size of bb's. Damn near dropped a square haybale on my face doing chores this morning when those little bb's turned a snow divet into a winter ambush. My whole yard is a minefield of nasty. Be safe out there fellas. This crap sucks!

Yeah we had some of the same, rain then sleet then snow and then in reverse order to rain. It was fun going to town (15mi) twice this morning for generator and tractor fuel then parts run for snowblower. Been pretty nice this afternoon, hopefully we don't get the wind that's forecasted

All mist and rain here. Everything was icy this morning, even the gravel roads. Temps did get above freezing until about 2 or 3 pm. I went to town about noon, took gravel roads and they were slick, when I came home alot had melted and made driving better. Hwy 2 looked like it had been sanded and salted, vehicles weren't driving slow. driveway, sidewalk, and everything concrete is an iced over slick mess. I was able to scrape some of the ice off in front of the house, have some of the pet friendly deicer I'll probably have to use tomorrow. Even got my ice cleats out of my ice fishing stuff, didn't use them today but I'll probably put them on in the morning to do chores.

What are these "chores" people keep talking about? Oh, wait.....I'm in a sweet spot with teenage boys, why would I do anything! Carry on....

Those were the days, we could get a lot done in a day but don't get soft, once they leave the nest you will be harvesting honeydews.

Sounds like someone wasn't very prepared for it to rain & snow

Kind of my thoughts. Now days with fairly accurate forecasts why would you wait until it hits to get your poop in a group?

Accurate forecasts that is laughable. Sorry I decided at the last minute to have spare fuel on hand and apparently while testing the blower the previous snow I had no issues till testing before I needed it this time and had my adapter coupler decide not to hold anymore so I went to get straight connector.
I guess not everyone is as great as all of you

Shit breaks, that happens to everyone but going to get fuel only after it rained and iced over, that's just lack of preparedness and completely ignoring any forecast or the fact you live in ND in the winter..........

Forecast wise, if anything they usually way over blow them so people aren't unprepared if they do happen!
