Been getting like 30 some calls a day for North Dakota final expense plan. Most hang up right away after i have my say of F O. Today I got a call right after dinner, number 7 for the day and this guy argued with me. That was a first, must of been having a bad day. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: LB

Answer/hit answer whatever then hit ### in quick succession then hang up. This knocks them off the internet. You should go from several a day to once a week or less. The goal is to get your number flagged. It works great for a landline. IDK about idiot rectangles. I heard this from Mike Rowe.

Kindly explain to them that your father, a Transylvania native, has an aversion to sunlight and that you've been trying to "exit stage left" for over 200 years to no avail. Ask what flavor he is, how he'd rank his virility on a scale of 1 to 10, and when he can come visit (preferably after sunset).

I have been hammered with spam calls, lately, too. I just sit and yell “take me off of your calling list” over and over, until they hang up.

Then I’ll get a call from the same entity a day or two later.

Wasn’t it supposed to be law that they must remove you from their directory if you stated so??

A guy I know really lit into a tele-marketer berating him on the phone and calling him a worthless piece of shit incapable of getting a real job and then he hung up. For weeks on end his phone would ring every morning around 2 to 3 am.

Someone must be buying what they are selling, or why would it happen so much?

I used to have #'s. for "do not call". Not a total solution, but it helps.
There is 1 for land lines and 1 for cell phones, but I can't find them.
Any help out there?

They are targeting older people and they are prompting to get you to say "yes". Dirt bags. Got 5 calls already this morn and its only 9:30. Phones on mute so just look at it every half hour or so, thought of getting air horn but don't want to wreck my phone. If I get bored I might have fun with a few but will try the ### thing . LB

Only for domestic telemarketers. Overseas phone scammers are not bound by our laws, and saying "remove me from your list" does nothing.

The best thing you can do is not answer. Ever. Not even to tell them to f*ck off. Once you answer, they know it's a legit number and the volume of calls will increase exponentially.

I wish I could, but since the calls come in with ND numbers, I have to answer them in case they are for work.

I used to get the car warranty calls all the time.
I started asking them if they insured wheel chairs as I was a paraplegic, or with as childish voice as I could must asking if they insured Schwinn bicycles or the little battery cars for kids. The calls went away.

I work for the county and one day the sheriff was in the shop and I took one of those calls and did the bicycle thing, the sheriff was almost rolling on the floor laughing.

My theory was if they were taking time to talk to me then they were not able to talk to someone else for that time.
