You started this post Feb 12th, you're bound to get the right date eventually. I have always said end of March first week of April for huntable numbers. To me 10,000 birds are not huntable numbers.

Large flocks showing up in Foster and Wells county. My use of the word "large" may not meet some prickish standards, but there are quite a few. Unless "quite a few" doesn't meet standard, then it is a lot.

Well going to try again this weekend. Got 0 last week, not many birds on the ground at all last week in SE ND. I heard alot came back, so going to try in the blizzard this weekend. Heading NW this time, any info on numbers north of minot?

Not sure about Minot, but been alot of flocks east of Minot from towner to Rugby. Sitting in fields and flying. Been here the last week to 10 days.
