I’m probably getting a live scope bundle this winter but this one will be lighter so that caught me attention. And I will hole hop chasing fish like in the summerI think that for wheel house lovers this application is a lot more practical than other live sonar setups.
I want to see it compared to the lvs 34 like this kit scheels has https://www.scheels.com/p/42400001139 . People said the vexilar shuttle and pole was pretty sweet last year with the livescope. Word is garmin is coming out with something new at icast this year.$2k... just like the Garmin PS22... no thanks.
Anyone who's looking into getting their first live sonar needs to sync up with someone who's already in the game. With enough patience, you can piece together a FFS unit off BISMAN/Marketplace for a far better price.
I will admit that the VEX shuttle and pole that come standard with that price is slick. I've gone through a few shuttles/poles to suit my needs and still switch from ice to open water. It hasn't been cheap figuring out what I like.I want to see it compared to the lvs 34 like this kit scheels has https://www.scheels.com/p/42400001139 . Im 99% certain going with a live scope this winter just need to figure out pole and shuttle.
After fishing in the boat with guys that are good at it . It has to be on the trolling motor to be the most successful.I will admit that the VEX shuttle and pole that come standard with that price is slick. Garmin is due for a real livescope upgrade, not the PS22, not the 3D overlay and spy pole, but something big. Competitors are catching up!
$2k for the LVS34 and the ability to run perspective view is a no brainer over the VEX.
