Got .10 here at the fort. Just enough to make your boots bigger with each step. Makes me feel taller too until one boots worth falls off, then I walk with a gimp or look like I have a 12 pack in me. Love that.......NOT!
Severe Storms headed for Aberdeen now. No hail in Mobridge I assume?Just got a nice 1.25 badly needed around mobridge. Wish it could do this about every other day for the whole month of july

We were dry here to, then it started raining end of June, got an inch which seemed perfect, next day got 2 more inches, then another half inch later that night, next day another .75. Now crops are flooded, ditches are full, corrals are full of mud and water. Didn't have mosquitos until now.Just got a nice 1.25 badly needed around mobridge. Ya about 3 inches total in less than 12 hours and not a puddle left. This weekend with wind and temps over 100 won’t even be able to tell it rained. We were dry here to, then it started raining end of June, got an inch which seemed perfect, next day got 2 more inches, then another half inch later that night, next day another .75. Id rather it be wet than dry but its crazy how fast it can change.
Take it down, its better than having it waste your house or what have you. Good odds it is going to die anywayCame home last night and the wife said one of the trees was struck by lightning. The tree is about 3
feet from the propane tank and about 25' from the house. I am kind of surprised and very thankful the lightning went into the ground instead of arcking to the propane tank next to it. Now I am wondering how structurally damaged the tree is and if I should just cut it down. The tree has to be somewhere around 30 to 40 feet tall and am worried if the next wind storm might bring it down on the house. It's a big shade tree and I hate to lose it but I am dreading more the work that it is going to take to cut it down.
