I have a suggestion, everyone who has more posts than likes on their profile should be booted off! I realize this would probably nix about 90% of the people on this forum! This rating system tells it all. Obviously, people don't like the BS they are posting so the posters need to clean up their act!

I cant reply on the hahas thread bevause i posted political content. I still see political content on there. Double standard? How about the memes thread? Thats pretty one sided, I’m not seeing any complaints about that. To the guys who contacted V, are you in favor of eliminating anything/everything that upsets you? Thats pretty soft. I have several on ignore. Once in a while I check their posts out. Same old mindless nonsense. But it’s a somewhat free country. For a fact they post very little content for a hunting and fishing site.

When I don't like a thread or someones post, I just don't read it.
We have that control and all it takes is a click of the mouse and "bam" they are gone.
While I don't agree with most of what he posts, Others probably feel the same about some of my posts or threads.
I really like this Forum as it does allow us some leeway on posts or threads.
If you don't like a thead, don't click on it.

It's not the thread that is the issue....I enjoy the threads......it's the responses from guys like Camper that have nothing to do with outdoors that turn me off of this site.
I know that V gets tons of "hits" on the Political Forum, but I would like to see the Political Forum only contain threads pertaining to the outdoors.

It's not the thread that is the issue....I enjoy the threads......it's the responses from guys like Camper that have nothing to do with outdoors that turn me off of this site.
I know that V gets tons of "hits" on the Political Forum, but I would like to see the Political Forum only contain threads pertaining to the outdoors.

I do not care, at all, about the political hits. That traffic is extremely minimal in comparison to the rest of the site. I, really, do not care for the political banter. It's not my cup of tea.

You might, also, think that this site generates some sort of measurable wealth. It does not. It barely covers the cost of hosting, but I have never been in it for money.

That being said, I do, also, know that political conversations seem to be intertwined with almost every topic, nowadays, and increasingly so. Maybe it is because we are getting older. If the political conversations were handled more maturely they could be in the main feed, but they are not. They, almost always, end up being a finger pointing, and name calling, contest.

As things pertain to this particular thread. I will never ban someone due to their political opinion. Perhaps, however, I need to crack down harder on the personal insults. Or ... maybe we can all just do a better job in that department.

Go back and check on most of my latest posts. Mostly in response to being called comrade or other insulting names. It seems to some that's ok. WTF?
