In most of the west walleyes are the same way to. Any thing that will eat mountain carp (trout) they don’t want. I think on cascade in Idaho my brother said you get 100 dollars for every walleye you catch.

Interesting….. hard to believe people would rather catch and eat a trout instead of a walleye or northern, to each their own tho

The fly fishing purist throw a fit if you keep a trout. They don’t even want you to touch them they are so fragile I guess.
