Actually recreational drones are protected by the FAA, bigtime fine if shooter is caught,$10k fine, feds don't f around.

My drone contacts in Sweden tell me they have laws against drone activity over private land drone user's need land owners permission to fly over open farmland. Not sure how they enforce the law other than eyeballing said drones then confronting the pilot. My drones both full size and mini are invisible @100' unless your looking for it,federal regulations when recreational pilots test for their license "drone must remain in visual sight" but that's no fun... my full size drone had a 24 mile range and could climb to 2k ft (however illegal) recreational drones are capped @ 400' to stay legal and no fly zones near airports gray area's where drones won't respond to recreational controllers, but that was my DJI full size bird. This drone technology is amazing tho. Couple farmers/ranchers I know set gps way points on their property boundaries to monitor cattle and to keep an eye on things especially during hunting season for trespassor's.
