Is this related to gorbal warming, or is it more of a basic climate change thing?

I was a Devils lake fishing fool 15 yrs ago, we would venture up from Fagro 8-10 times a year, mostly during the ice season.
I might have to set out on a journey back to the roots of my obsession this hard water season.

Yes..I believe the 2 pumps that have been running removed 7-8 inches this year..then subtract more for evaporation. I think I read or heard 7-8 inches though. Someone else can chime in if they heard different.

do it early or late ice

mid winter is a PITA and is almost sure to make you regret the trek (in my experience anyway)

also - the NWT site has "Live Streaming will be up and running for the NWT Green Bay event at 3 PM CST on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25." on the leaderboard and live streaming - in order to make you check your sanity

I sure hope so. They should be DQ'd. Or better yet, tomorrow after they go thru the county should run down there and close it back up. That'd be the BEST lesson.
