Big fan of striker-fire; 2nd to SA. Dry fire a Glock for a while in the den. I find it a pleasing sensation. Cadillac vs Corvette (SA): The "wall" is real and "quick" with strikers. After a while you won't notice it and "boing" the front sight/GUN doesn't move. God forbid you're involved in a shooting. God forbid it's with a trigger mod. IMHOI move the firearm when I move triggers that move.
Please dear sweet Baby Jesus deliver me from DAO and striker-fired pistols as well as 4#+ gritty/draggy/creepy rifle triggers.
Gimme a good set of sharp, square-edged, never-stripped 1/4# bits, a good driver, A set of ignition-specific mini open-end wrenches, a set of sharp, squared-edged, never stripped mini/precision bits a separate 1/4" In/# limited driver or torque limiting insert, Earnie The Gunsmith's phone number or site-address in case I need a reduced poundage spring, and a bottle of clear nail polish to keep the wiggles out when I'm finished.
I don't do any work on handgun triggers of any sort. Anything more than a squirt of brake/parts cleaner, a blast of compressed air, and a drop or 2 of lube/anti-rust and I'll happily hand it off to someone who knows WTF.God forbid it's with a trigger mod. IMHO
Rifle triggers are either factory adjustments, possibly spring replacement, or full-swaps. No filing/stoning etc.
