I thing a men of NDA would sell more putting faces behind user names and isnt it time we do some thing for the ladies:)

I got a pair of cuttoffs that'd really make the bridge builders howl.

Zman does a "virtual" version of this pretty much every year. Doubtful there are many "ladies" that want anything to do with those displayed sans LARGE cash payments, up front.

I think paying for posts would be a disaster. We post on here to provide input/suggestions/advice to other outdoorsmen/women not for $. I would probably abandon this site if we were to get paid for our posts. I don't want to open the site and see endless ramblings from members trying to make a buck or two. V is the one putting in the time and effort to make this site and deserves the $ rewards. FBO is on it's deathbed so it has nothing to lose. Just my .02.

The FBO calendar is, quite possibly, the worst commercial attempt at a "Sports Illustrated" cheesecake expose I have ever witnessed. And I have witnessed plenty in my day. I've seen plenty of 'girly" calendars for tools, choppers, cars, etc. and it is so far down in the bottom of the barrel it almost seems it was done poorly on purpose.

What's hilarious is that the production of the product itself is pretty top notch. The content....lacks.

So first off I cheated, and I apologize and will try not to go back there again (unless heavily under the influence)I clicked on a sidebar topic when rehashing some old funny threads, these clowns are giving cash away for points, http://www.fishingbuddy.com/member-points-system
A guy like johnr could supplement his beer drinking habits in a little over a month just by posting. Vollmer not trying to push the crowd back that direction as much as get guys opinions on this. At their point system it seems like you could generate a bit of cash in a year if you have 200 posts, 200 replies, 20 fishing reports, 10 classifieds, 40 pics that would put you at 2000 points=$750 bucks, they should have had that back in the late nineties when I originally signed up. Anyways talk amongst yourselves

Reminds me of the kids who would bring candy to grade school so they would have "friends".

I went over and checked out the rules. It appears the posts have to be approved for points. If they see a bunch of random posts with no substance or purpose, then they probably won't count them. With all the mods they have, and the lack of activity, it should be easy to do. In the glory days, this would have been great. I'm not talking about just the money, but the endless chatter about which posts didn't count and why.

Plainsman and a " drain tile causes flooding" thread plus a plainsman and a CWD thread plus plainsman and a NDFB or DU thread, plainsman and a HFH thread, hardwaterman and a DU/corp farming thread, Hardwaterman and a baiting deer thread , quincy and a #blacklivesmatter thread........................Hell I'd be halfway to my new Nightforce.

The 40 pager pays out big!!

I saw some of the FBO calendars on display at the cenex in fessenden. I went to page through the calendar and was scolded by one of the rather large lady clerks. She said, "no looking unless you buy!". I asked why and she responded,"we dont want the pages to get all sticky!"
