Used the rifled sabot slugs for a 12ga hunting deer in Ohio (shotgun only at the time). Shot remarkably flat to 80-85 yards fo a 1 1/4 oz hunk of lead.

They changed the "banner". I like Ron Spomer. This vid proves him and a shitton others wrong. I will say a "down home/all shucks" demeanor quickly gets on my nerves and gives me the impression of Democrat.

Neat video. I went down this rabbit hole a couple months ago for my wife’s moose tag. Unfortunately couldn’t find any non-lead rifled slugs in AK. Her coworker has the same tag and had rifled lead slugs at the range. As stated above, surprisingly accurate to 75 yards or so.

If I lived in your neck of the woods my bear protection would be my homemade coach gun and Federal Truballs. A company called B&P used to make 1 1/8 oz "Accuracy Slugs".

One more: I shot a box of the Accuracy Slugs through the M-12 FC as they advertised this may be actually the best constriction. @50 from the bench I got a cantaloupe/softball group printing a foot right/3in low just using the bead. I wanted to have the comfortable shotgun for busting cattails. I didn't buy another box as the windage was too extreme for my taste. IMO the recoil was akin to the 7. Yet to fire slugs from the coach gun.
