battery powered yard tools are the Dylan Mulvaney of lawn care.
Your right about that, I put a 7.3 Powerstroke in my riding mower. Just to give it a little more power.

I have this one and like it a lot, had it for maybe 3 years no and not a single issue. I had the batteries and charger already so it was a no brainer. They make one now where the powerhead detaches so you can swap ends which might be worth investigating, depending what the attachments are exactly.

I have had the Milwaukee weed whip for 3 or 4 years now--similar to you, I already had some Milwaukee tools and it just made sense for me. The only thing I miss about my gas powered weed whip was the glorious 2 stroke fuel smell.

If you're not in a hurry to buy--watch for good bare-tool sales from places like Acme. Got mine for nearly half-off when I bought it.
