Favorite Walleye Plastic

Being we are a fishing forum, lets talk fishing.

Post your favorite plastic for walleye. Must have caught atleast 5 walleyes on it to be posted. For bonus points include the body of water. Might be kinda fun to learn from each other what has worked

Ill go first. Had good luck with these )only used purple) on the big lake in early June when the fish are shallow and casting into them and working it back.. lot of fun

Toss up for me....Keitech Easy Shad or Swing Impact on a plain lead color bullet jighead but they are not overly durable baits (tend to get the tails ripped off very often...great marketing strategy).

Sakakawea walleye (East End...May thru as long as they are back in the bays, which can be all summer long and into the fall)

Ribb Finns for 36 to 38 degree water
their paddle tail or pulse-r when go time 40 degrees walleye feeding time
New Eye candy is great
hair jigs with added salty or minnow
Gulp Minnow
River fishing and lake fishing early spring and late fall try to match color of bait and need fish all plastic faster it is a reaction bite.
Alot more for sure always new stuff to try vs old standby

1/4-3/8 White VMC Moontail. Deadly on most any body of water I've taken it to, but most favorite is Lake Sakakawea. Gotta work it slow and fluff that skirt!

Did a test with these and live crawlers down on Pollock early June last year and they faired just as well as live crawlers.

I've had some luck on the Moxi. White walleye assasin is typically the first bait I try.

None of these replies count if you are using them on sakakawea’s west end from May thru July…. A red and white bobber with a red hot dog will smash walleyes out there.

Minnows in the spring, crawlers in the heat of summer, and minnows come fall.

Works 60% of the time, all of the time.

Did a test with these and live crawlers down on Pollock early June last year and they faired just as well as live crawlers.

Last July my buddies kid forgot the crawlers on the counter at The Bay in Mobridge. We went half way to Pollock before we noticed. We used Gulp half crawlers for slow death rigs and ended 1 short of a limit. The next day we had crawlers, but the wind and weather kept up near town but we didn't do nearly as well.

The yellow gulp crawlers on slow death were killer for us. Didnt spend time rebaiting either
