Nope not going to, if you cant figure it out for yourself, and this isnt a new topic by any means. They all have one thing in common and since this article doesn't provide any detail as to what the land will be used for, one can only speculate that its to build new housing locations. Thats one of those things that this administration had talked about selling off federal land to be used for new housing locations.

There are already procedures to sell off federal land for new housing locations. What I worry about is that large tracts will be fast-tracked for sale without public comment and they will all go to large corporations.

Would the public comment matter? The powers at be do what they want no matter the public outcry.

Exactly my point..number one your rep doesnt give a shit what you say, another words the phone call is pointless. They also have no clue what they vote for..they are told how to vote. I have actually talked to one of our reps face to face about an issues that affects ND(very respectfull). The rep was more interested in what the powers that be out of the state have to say then when us locals had to say.
I’ve spent lots of time in the offices of senators and representatives. I have a more glass half full outlook. First, the amount of time a legislator has to talk on the phone is basically nothing. They’re in hearings or on the floor anytime they’re not in meetings. Their office may have four groups in at the same time. There are talented folks who are there to listen to concerns and convey them. The legislators can’t be everywhere. Have faith your message gets somewhere.

The affiliated political party controls more of their vote than any of their constituents calls anyway. It’s a party line vote most the time. If something needs to change, that is it.

Right, they are told how to vote. Your and my voice means nothing. They have time to walk in parades, sit in a CEO office and listen to him/her. He/she should have the time to listen to the people that elected them to office to say anything else is an excuse. A time can be scheduled to talk to them..this I know.

250 million acres is roughly 390,000 square miles. That's the size of Texas and California combined. Seems to me like that's a lot of land to take away for public hunting, fishing, and other recreation, and a lot of dollars spent on those activities for local economies.
Thank your magatard president.
