Sak Get out there this weekend!

Fished a couple times this week, the bites as good or better than it's been all summer. We were done by 10:00 am 8/28/25 using both worms and minnows. 20 ft and deeper. The weather has been absolutely beautiful! Heard it's really picked up across the entire lake as they put on the feedbag!
Remember as they slide deeper you need to keep them.

I havent fished sak in a few years, what part of the lake were you on? I dont really have a great sak boat, gets a little sketchy when the wind comes up...

I counted 23 boats as I crossed Sak/Aud on Wed AM. I was seethingly jealous of every one of them!!

Driving between Minot and Bis. yesterday, Sak/Aud were GLASS. When I got S of the lake, it was a steady stream of boats, most of them wearing 'riggers. Good luck to all!

My wife and I have been bedridden sick all week from a fricking head cold…haven’t been this sick in years. And of course during the best week of weather all summer… no lake for us this weekend!

I haven't fished it since last year around this time because I live in eastern ND (pray for me).

In the South that's a 4.5lb. This looks like a fat assed 6(?)

The bite is not good out West the lake from white earth to tobacco is green and mossy thick worst Ive seen it in years fish are spread bait is low hope it clears up soon it's my favorite time to fish this part of the lake.

Indian hills or deep water, even Beulah bay.
