Damn early for ticks isn't it 🤔
About 30 to 32 yrs ago my oldest son and I were Turkey hunting in N.D. It snow the night before opener. And we were waiting for the Turkeys to fly down from the roost. My son pointed to a tick crawling across the snow while we waiting.

He did shoot a Turkey that morning, he was like 6 or 8 yrs old. Browning BPS 20 ga.

No, I've had ticks at my place as early as mid-February, maybe 3-4 times out of the past 14 years. I love those years! We always got a tick ass-kicker afterwards and killed them. Well, at least we had very few those summers.

Haven't seen a single robin, mourning dove, or wood duck. Spring is not here yet. However, I won't poo poo the warm temps one bit.

I am ordering the "good" netting for the June berries and honey berries this year. Once those a$$hat robins decide they like them, they are like jackals and will ravage them non-stop until they're gone.
