No pheasant chicks, but the river around the fort is awash in Canada goslings. Must be 50 or more right behind the house. The parents can't seem to stop fighting though. They just worry the dogdoo out of each other all day long. Reminds me of a herd of mother in laws all beatin' the same dead horse......or maybe it reminds me of NDA more. I can't decide which.

Came across a nest of hatched out pheasant eggs today. Haven't seen the little one yet but I'd guess they are somewhere around here in the tall grass.

have a young fawn on the job site and numerous goslings of different hatches running around. Makes a day of work just a little bit brighter.

found these guys strolling through my yard in town, those parents are not scared of nothing.

First time I've ever got pictures in Timber. Got to be a dangerous walk to the river 500-600yds away. Only thing I can think of is they nested by a pond a quarter mile from my Timber
