    Here's my favorite: Marbles No. 2, patented 1898. Blade is only 2-1/4" wide but as sharp as a knife. Great for butchering, even cleaned fish with it when I forgot a knife.

    I worked with a guy who was hunting in a blizzard with his buddy. When they got back to the vehicle they just jumped in to warm up without unloading guns...one goes off, shoots thru the floor but a chip of plastic floormat flies up and pokes out the other guy’s eye. His insurance sued the other...

    Largemouth bass fishing at Van Oostings Dam (west of Hensler) and Sweetbriar Lake in the 1970's through early 1980's. In 2011 while the Missouri flood waters were receding in the fall, the shore fishing on the river was on fire...we had a spot where 4 or 5 of us would all watch while one guy...

    Sitka gear…..$$$$

    I agree that the quality and longevity is worth the price, but I only buy the fancy stuff on sale. I find the Kuiu pants have a bit more room than Sitka with similar high quality. My favorite stuff is the merino wool tshirts...wear them year round 5 days/week.

    thanks! I used to play Xanadu on my guitar 40 years ago...not quite as many notes tho haha...buddy had a Rick bass, it was fun playing Cygnis X1 together....
